Sunnyside High School Fire Alarm Upgrade

Scope of Work

• Situation Assessment: Upon being awarded the contract, our first task was a meticulous evaluation of Sunnyside High School's existing fire alarm system. It was paramount to ascertain the areas out of code compliance and identify the sections that were inoperable.
• Design & Approval / System Design: Drawing from our extensive experience and the unique requirements of the educational facility, we engineered a state-of-the-art fire alarm system tailored to Sunnyside High School.
• AHJ Submission: Once the design was ready, it was submitted to the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for approval, ensuring all standards and codes were diligently met.
• Infrastructure Implementation: Recognizing the need for an expanded network, our team performed extensive saw cutting and trenching between buildings, laying the groundwork for the new alarm wire infrastructure.
• System Installation: With the groundwork laid, we proceeded to replace and upgrade the out-of-date parts of the fire alarm system, ensuring that the new setup not only met but exceeded the safety requirements for the school.
• Adaptable Scheduling: Given the active nature of a school, our operations had to be flexible. While school was in session, our team adapted to working night shifts, ensuring minimal disruption to the school's daily activities and prioritizing the safety of students and staff.
